Hello, my printer quality is very light and when I try to go to clean the ink I don't have the Print Quality Tools option.

I can imagine how frustrating it must be to see your prints coming out faint—especially when you're ready to clean things up and the tools just aren’t there. Let’s get this sorted together.

 

On the HP DeskJet 2700e, the Print Quality Tools like Clean Printhead might not always show up directly on your computer software. Instead, you can access it through the HP Smart app:

 

Open the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.

Tap on your printer.

Look for Printer Reports or Tools > Print Quality Tools.

Run the Clean Printhead option.

 

If it’s still not visible, try updating the printer firmware via the app—sometimes, that gives the hidden features a little nudge to show up.
