Welcome to HP Support Community, @DTNT

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 43100 printer is only printing blank pages, including when you attempt to print a test page, you can try troubleshooting the issue with the following steps:

1.Check the Ink Levels:

Ensure that the ink cartridges are not empty. You can check the estimated ink levels through your printer software.
If ink levels are low, replace the cartridges with genuine HP ink.

2.Remove and Reinstall Ink Cartridges:

Turn on the printer and open the cartridge access door.
Wait for the carriage to move to the center, then remove the ink cartridges.
Inspect the cartridges for any remaining protective tape. If present, remove it without touching the copper-colored contacts or ink nozzles.
Reinstall the cartridges carefully and close the door.

3.Print a Diagnostic Page:

Sometimes, printing a diagnostic page can help identify problems with the cartridges or printer functions. Check your user guide or printer software for instructions on how to print this page.

4.Clean the Print Cartridge Contacts:

Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water to clean the cartridge contacts and those on the printer.
Dry contacts with another lint-free cloth or let them air dry for at least 10 minutes before reinstalling.

5.Perform a Printer Reset:

Unplug the power cord from the printer while it is on.
Wait for about 60 seconds and plug the power cord back in.
Press the power button to turn the printer back on and try printing again.

6.Update Printer Software:

Check for any software updates for your printer software/driver and install them if available. These updates might resolve compatibility and functionality issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
