HP Deskjet 4155 e problem with Jarbo new cartridge - black 901 XL

If your HP DeskJet 4155e is having issues with the Jarbo Black 901 XL cartridge, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

 

1. Check Cartridge Compatibility

  • Ensure the Jarbo 901 XL cartridge is compatible with your printer model.

 

2. Remove and Reinstall the Cartridge

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the cartridge access door and remove the black 901 XL cartridge.
  • Clean the gold contacts on the cartridge with a lint-free cloth.
  • Reinsert the cartridge firmly and close the access door.

3. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord for 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect and turn it back on.

4. Run Printhead Cleaning

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Go to Printer Settings > Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

 

Let me know if any of these steps help! If the issue persists, you may need to check if the cartridge is defective or consider using an HP-branded cartridge.

 

Note: I see that you have an issue using non-HP ink cartridges on your printer.

If you are using generic or non-HP ink cartridges and the above links do not help. You will have to contact the generic ink cartridge manufacturer to assist you further with it, or you will have to use genuine HP ink cartridges to resume printing.
