HP ENVY 5030 from Europe doesn't work with ink cartridges from USA

Hello everyone, 

My HP ENVY 5030 from Europe doesn't work with ink cartridges from USA. I'm getting a "The indicated  cartridges are not intended for use of this printer" message. 

I tried all of the troubleshooting advice from HP and nothing helped? 

Do I need to restore my printer to factory defaults and then download the updates in America? Could it be a software issue? 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.  

  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
