HP Envy 5020 - Started with PDF and Word docs printing badly. Now nothing but blank prints.

I hope someone can help. For a few months now I've had a few problems with printing from my HP Envy 5020. First started out my pdf's were not printing correctly and I found a kinda fix for that then word docs started coming out faded or missing or just blank and now just getting nothing but blank printouts. I have tried replacing my full inks with others, reinstalled the software on pc, set printer back to factory settings all to no avail. When printing tests pages through the control panel in windows it prints clearly so not a clue what is going on. Can anyone please advise?

 I'd like to help!

 

To better assist you - 

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices? 

 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

  1. Load the printer with plain white paper.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe left on the display, and then touch Setup .

  3. Touch Tools.

  4. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
