HP ENVY 5020
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi

I own an ENVY 5020 printer plus an Envy 4507 both on instant ink and working fine (apart from the 4507's reluctance to print photos but that's another issue...)

I just purchased another ENVY 5020 second hand for an elderly disabled friend (thinking it would be a cheap option for him as he doesn't print that much) that came without any cartridges. So I then bought a pair of genuine HP cartidges. I removed web services first incase it was still tied to an instant ink account.

I installed the black cartridge and it works perfectly. However, when I installed the colour one, it won't work as it says it requires the setup cartridge. I know what setup cartridges but they obviously didn't come with this printer. How do I get round this problem? I've spent a lot of money on ink and can still only print in B&W!

Also, if there is no solution, could I use these cartridges in another 5020 printer so long as it wasn't signed up to instant ink?

Help!!
