Cyan and yellow not printing. Followed all troubleshooting and was directed to contact customer support. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_8678713-8678758-16
Other than being held hostage to buy a new HP printer, is there an easier answer? Do I get paid for my time playing computer repair woman. Do any US companies really care about customer service anymore? Can you hear me now Verizon and Xfinity?

Hi, @Awful123
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
Try these steps:
Check Ink Levels: Make sure the cyan and yellow cartridges aren’t low or empty. Sometimes, even if they appear fine, they might not be functioning properly.
Perform a Print Head Cleaning: Use the HP printer software on your computer to run a print head cleaning cycle. This can help clear any clogs that might be preventing color ink from flowing.
Print a Self-Test Page: You can print a self-test page or a diagnostic page to see if the issue is with the cartridges or something else. This is usually accessible through the printer's control panel.
Try Different Paper: Sometimes, using the wrong type of paper can affect print quality. Ensure you're using paper that is compatible with your printer.
Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. Firmware updates can fix bugs and improve performance.
Reinsert Cartridges: Remove the cartridges and then reinsert them to ensure they are seated properly.
Reset the Printer: Sometimes a simple reset can resolve issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Replace Cartridges: If you’ve tried everything else, it might be worth considering replacing the cyan and yellow cartridges, especially if they are third-party cartridges.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
