HP Envy Photo 6234 cartridge problem Instant ink account

My HP Envy 6234 is reporting a Black cartridge problem.

The screen on the front gives this solution. Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed. If this message continues to appear replace the indicated cartridge.


I have followed the instruction and the troubleshooting procedure from the virtual agent, removing cartridge and cleaning the contacts with distilled water. This did not work.

I posted this previously last Saturday and had a PM from HP employee Jay_G24. I replied but have heard nothing since.

I am subscribed to Instantink, so could you please send me a replacement black cartridge
