Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently installed a new black ink and have printed maybe 30 pages (these are mostly words not full pages, none have been pictures or anything of a full page) and it is saying I have used half my ink. For 30 pages! It claims the ink is for  about 120 pages so I am only getting half of the claimed amount? It has only been recently I have noticed this. Has anyone else had this issue? Anything I can do to get more pages?

HP Envy 5055. 

it seems to have gotten worse with the printing less pages recently. Like probably about half as many as it states. And the pages I print aren’t full pages either.

I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding a replacement ink.

Hi,

My printer is out of warranty so it’s trying to make me buy something to get help. I don’t have an issue with the printer and I’m not paying to get help with poor ink quality. Please advise how to get help with the ink issue without paying for help.
