Product: HP Officejet Pro 8710
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am an inserting an HP supplied, HP Instant Ink cartridge into my HP Officejet Pro 8710 all-in-one, and it is bringing up the error "Older Generation Cartridge". I have tried powering down the printer for 60 seconds and restarting it, and it has made no difference. The cartridge was supplied by HP specifically for use on this printer. Can I get a replacement cartridge from HP free of charge? Is it outside the warranty period, or can I still get a free replacement:

 

The catridge text reads:

"hp 952/953/954/955
Black
Instant Ink Cartridge
Not for sale or realse.
Intended for single use only.

Warranty ends:
2019/09
Made In Malaysia"
