HP Laser Jet MFP M277dw

Hi,

Honestly, we do not print in color that often ... actually the cartridges installed are not only HP but the original that came with the unit.

When we print color documents, all the pages show cyan bleeding on the top of the page (landscape mode) or the left edge (portrait mode)HP Bleeding2.jpgHP Bleeding.jpg. The actual tonner levels are 50%, 10%, 40% and 10% for black, cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges respectively.

Any ideas will be appreciated.HP Bleeding.jpg.

The cyan cartridge must be replaced.

try to clean this area with a cloth (should not be linty).
It's worth a try!

I'll hear from you.

Hi,

Have you printed the cleaning page several times?

Thanks .... This printer is my only color one, but I barely use color anymore ... my M402dn is my black & white horse. The 277dw is use a lot for scanning.

Spending $350 in the 4-pack cartridges makes no sense when a new printer like the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M182nw

can be purchased for $329. I will stay with the m277 until it dies ... thanks for the guidance.

I would think about it again.

Because your old cartridges have now been in use for about 8 years. That's 44 USD / year.
Cyan = ~1,330 pages

For the new printer you currently have to pay about 250 USD.
Cyan = 850 pages

That's how long the cartridges in my m277dw have been in use.
This model is very good. I will buy new original HP cartridges again.

Greetings
