Does anyone know if HP is still making ink cartridges for the HP Office Jet 6978; I bought this printer about 6 months ago and it is impossible to find ink cartridges. Stores and on line sellers don't have them. I've tried ordering them from HP on line and they have given me many conflicting answers. At times they have taken the order and charged me but never shipped. They say they are currently unavailable. What is up?? Help!

I suggest you contact HP Support in your region for replacement cartridges
1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

You've got to be kidding, contact who??? Calls go unanswered, if they are answered, the rep says they can't help and say they will transfer me to someone who can and then switch me to dead space. Just look how long it took you to answer this as an indication of the help you can get from HP. When I did get through to someone and they said they would send ink, I got charged and the ink was never shipped. I had to contest the charge with my credit card company to get my money back. I feel I have been scammed as I have a new printer that has been without for months. Worthless!!!
