I am having issues printing color. I have looked at previous support requests on this and have done all the debugging to get this to print color. I have HP ink cartridges and they have ink in them as they are brand new (i replaced them thinking that this might be the problem). 

No clue what I should do to fix this. I have tried multiple things like HP print assistant, unistall and reinstall drivers, start/restart the printer, cleaned the printer head multiple times, etc. Still won't print. 

 

This is a new printer that I have only used for about a year and maybe 20times in that span. I have not been able to print color since the beginning which was not necessary until now.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer that does not print in color.

Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain on the printer.

 

1) Take out the cartridges

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges

 

Kindly refer to the steps on this link to troubleshoot and let me know if that resolves the issue.
