HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile Printer

HP Officejet 200 Mobile Printer CZ993A not printing Cyan and Yellow.  I've tried two brand new HP colored ink cartridges.  I've cleaned the print heads 6 times.  Nothing has worked.  I was printing fine.  Help!

@Reesie2002, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile Printer (CZ993A) is not printing cyan and yellow, even after trying two new HP color cartridges and multiple printhead cleanings. Let's work through this together.

Check Cartridge Authenticity and Installation

  • Ensure both cartridges are genuine HP and properly installed.
  • Remove and reinsert the cartridges to confirm they are seated correctly.
  • Clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth and distilled water.

Print a Diagnostic Page

  • On the printer, go to Setup > Tools > Print Quality Report.
  • Check if cyan and yellow appear on the report. If they don’t, it confirms a color ink delivery issue.

Manually Clean the Printhead

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Outdated firmware can cause ink delivery issues.
  • Visit the HP Software and Drivers page and enter your printer model to check for updates.

Try a Different Cartridge (if available)

  • Even new cartridges can be defective. If possible, try a third cartridge to rule this out.

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from power for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
