I am not enrolled in instant ink refill. I purchased HP cartridge 63 (color & black) but keep getting error message- Incompatible Cartridge. I have tried all the recommended troubleshooting tips & firmware update and nothing work. Anyone have any ideas so I can print again? Enrolling in the ink refill program is not an option.

Hi @Jetskic,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
Was this printer enrolled in the instant ink program earlier?
If yes, here's what you need to know & do:
If you have an instant ink cartridge on your printer, remove it and discard that, You can only use regular cartridges on your printer once you cancel the program.
That said, if you have trouble using regular cartridges, I recommend you turn off the web service using the steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04808536
when done successfully, check if it works fine.
If not enrolled in Instant Ink before, Perform the steps from this document.
If this does not help, either the cartridge is faulty or the printer needs to be checked.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
