Hi @Faris34,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the error message "There is a problem with the supply system" on your HP OfficeJet Pro 7720 usually indicates an issue with the ink cartridges or the printhead. Here's how you can troubleshoot this problem:
1. Check the Cartridges:
- Ensure Genuine HP Cartridges: Make sure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Non-HP or refilled cartridges can sometimes cause errors.
- Reinsert the Cartridges: Remove each cartridge and then reinsert them, making sure they are properly seated in their slots.
- Check for Damage: Inspect the cartridges for any visible damage, such as leaks, cracks, or missing contacts.
2. Inspect the Printhead:
- Remove and Clean the Printhead: If the error persists, carefully remove the printhead and clean the electrical contacts with a lint-free cloth and distilled water. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting it.
- Reinstall the Printhead: After cleaning, reinstall the printhead securely.
3. Check for Firmware Updates: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Update Firmware: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP support website.
4. Reset the Printer:
- Perform a Power Reset: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
5. Factory Reset (Last Resort):
- Since you've already performed a factory reset, you may need to try it again after ensuring that all cartridges are properly installed and there are no issues with the printhead.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
