My HP Officejet Pro 8620 has been working well until a few days ago. Then the cyan cartridge ran out. When I replaced it with an HP 951, the printer stopped working. Initially, it reported that one or more of the cartridges were damaged, so I purchased a complete new set of HP cartridges (i.e. all four cartridges). When I installed them, the printer now reports, “There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on, if problem persists, contact HP.” I haven’t been able to reach anyone via the HP phone number because the automated voice response system doesn’t recognize my printer’s serial number even though I have triple checked it and I am entering it correctly. I have now purchased over $100 worth of ink and don’t have anything to show for it. Another symptom is that when I access the printer’s EWS, the web page displays (incorrectly) that the printer is a “HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909g”. I’d think it should say “8620”. If someone could help me get this printer working again, I’d be very grateful.
