Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Pagewide Pro MFP 477 dw.  Has an OEM Black Ink Cartridge and ink, but printer thinks it's empty.  I have tried to downgrade firmware, but all attempts per this community don't seem to 'take' for me. 

1) After loading any of the OLD .ful2 files on a new, fat32 formatted usb and installing it into the printer, I never (no matter what I do) get the message on the screen 'Update Printer'.

2) If I turn on and hold the power button to get the Home and Back Button (whether I plug in the printer WHILE holding the Power Button, or not), and enter the Home>Back Button>Home>Home and tap 'Reflash', the screen goes green with numbers across it (1-6 or 7 or something) and NEVER leaves this screen.

           * If I turn the machine off and back on, it comes to 'Ready', except for it needing the Black Ink, again.

Yes, I have wireless, etc. turned off.  HELP!
