Hey everyone,

 

I'm having an issue with my HP Smart Tank 529 printer. Whenever I try to print in color, everything comes out with a weird purple or magenta tint. It's happening with photos and documents, making the colors look off. However, black and white prints seem fine.

 

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

 

Cleaned the printhead (multiple times)

 

Checked the ink levels – all tanks are fine

 

Aligned the printer

 

Used different types of paper (photo, plain, etc.)

 

Reinstalled the printer drivers

 

 

But no matter what I do, the purple tint issue keeps coming back. It looks like it might be a magenta ink problem, but I’m not sure.

 

Has anyone else had this issue with the Smart Tank 529? Any advice or solutions would be super helpful! I am running on windows 11 all drivers are updated
