Hi @luzvie,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Tank 615 printer is not printing blue, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix the issue.

Check Ink Levels

  • Make sure the blue (cyan) ink tank has sufficient ink. Even if the ink appears to be present, it may be low enough to affect print quality.
  • Refill the ink tank if necessary.

Printhead Cleaning

  • Run a printhead cleaning cycle from the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app on your computer or phone. This can help clear any clogged nozzles.
    • On the printer’s display, go to Settings > Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
    • After cleaning, print a test page to see if the blue color is restored.

Align Printhead

  • Misaligned printheads can affect color printing. Align the printheads through the printer settings.
    • Go to Settings > Maintenance > Align Printhead.

Print a Diagnostic Report

  • Printing a diagnostic page will help you determine if it's an issue with the cyan ink.
    • You can do this by going to Settings > Reports > Print Quality Report.
    • Check if the blue (cyan) color is missing or faint.

Clean the Ink Cartridge Nozzles

  • If the printhead cleaning doesn't fix the issue, manually clean the ink cartridge nozzles.
    • Turn off the printer and carefully remove the printhead.
    • Use a lint-free cloth moistened with distilled water to gently clean the nozzles.

Use Genuine HP Inks

  • Make sure you are using genuine HP ink. Non-HP ink may cause print quality issues.

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Sometimes a printer's firmware update can resolve printing issues.
    • Go to HP's Support Page to download the latest firmware for your printer.

Try a Different Document/Print Job

  • Ensure that the issue is not with the document itself or its color settings. Try printing a different file or image to confirm.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
