You need to determine if this is a driver issue or hardware issue. From the control panel of the printer, print the supplies status page or the demo page and see if color prints. If it does, then you likely have a driver that is not aware the printer is color capable. Make sure that you are using an HP driver and not a Microsoft IPP or class driver as these drivers often fail to allow features. Once you have determine you have an HP driver (or have deleted the Microsoft driver and reinstalled), on your PC go to control panel>devices and printers (right click and select open from the drop down box) and then right click on the icon for your printer and select pritner properties from the drop down menu. Then click on device settings tab, scroll down until you see device type and change to color. If you get no color when printing the supplies status page then you have a hardware issue that will require more attention
