Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased original HP ink on amazon and installed them, it worked fine until yesterday.

Now it's constantly saying that I don't have an instant ink service subscription or something.

So I wrote the HP support and sorry to say this but because their only solution is a paid subscription....

I do not want any subscription I just wanna use my printer to print files just like any other printer can do.

So I was hoping that the community could help me out to make my printer work without that subscription.

I am not gonna pay for ink and then pay so I can use the ink, it's a really weird concept which sounds more like a scam to me.

As you can see in my writings I really lost my patience here and I am pretty frustrated.

@nesoor, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

To assist you better, is the printer enrolled in Instant Ink?

Are you using Instant Ink cartridges? Check the ink cartridge label to confirm.

Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error

I am not enrolled for instant ink and I also don't have any interest in these services.

I also never received any instant ink. I purchase my own original HP ink on Amazon.

I have the same issues listed as this website here: https://ctwatchdog.com/business/false-advertising/hp-sued-again-for-cheating-printer-customers-this-...

The cartridges are correctly placed yet I get the same message that I have to enroll for instant ink to use them...

I followed all of these steps including your private message and yet it's not working.

I paid for the ink myself on Amazon and now I have to pay HP to use them.... Great service....
