HP print & Scan doctor prints Black page

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using hp print and scan doctor, it ran through the objects and stopped on the last one called test print and hung up.  Just below that is another test print that I ran.   This gave me a page that was all black.  can you help

 I'd like to help!

 

To better assist you - 

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices? 

 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

  1. Load plain white paper in the tray.

  2. Print the report.

    • Printers with a touchscreen or menus: On the printer, open the Settings or Setup menu, touch Tools or Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report or similar.

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further. 

 

You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer -  Print Quality Issues 

 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
