Hi @Scammedonink,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your printer might still be locked due to the Instant Ink program. Here are some steps you can follow to resolve this issue.
Check Instant Ink Status:
- Log in to your HP Instant Ink account and ensure that your subscription is fully canceled and not in a suspended state. Sometimes, accounts in a suspended state can still restrict printing.
Reset Printer:
- Unplug your printer from the power source for about a minute and then plug it back in. This can sometimes reset any lingering settings.
Replace Instant Ink Cartridges:
- If you are still using the Instant Ink cartridges, they may be locked to the service. Replace them with standard HP ink cartridges purchased from a retailer.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates via the printer’s menu or through the HP Smart app.
Check Printer Settings:
- Navigate to the printer settings and look for any options related to Instant Ink or subscription services. Make sure these are disabled.
Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Uninstall your printer from your computer and then reinstall it with the latest drivers from the HP website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
