HP3830

HP Recommended

My HP Officejet 3830 colors are printing wrong.  The purple is printing blue; pink, red and orange is printing yellow.  How do I fix this problem.  Thanks

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?

 

Meanwhile:-

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page

  1. Load plain paper into the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

  3. Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.

    A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.

I changed the color cartridge and this fixed my problem.  Thanks
