How can I cancel an order before shipping?

I forgot to use the promption code and I want to cancel the order and do it again. How can I cancel it?

Good Day. Thank you for taking an interest in the HP community. I understand that you require assistance regarding canceling the order as you forgot to use the promo code. I will be really glad to assist you here. 🙂

Fabulous description and superb diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. )

  • What order are you speaking about?
  • What promo code is it that you are working on?

For now please follow these steps to contact HP phone support for further assistance:

HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://hp.care/2r9wSvP

  • Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
  • Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
  • Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
  • Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

They will be happy to assist you immediately. If the unit is under warranty repair services is taken care of by the manufacturer’s warranty

Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, please.

I also need to cancel an order that I placed. There is no option in the order's page to cancel like most of the other online ordering systems. The printer I ordered will not ship until Dec 12 2017. Today is Nov 29 2017. I also contacted online chat to cancel my order and the representive said once an order is placed he/she would not be able to cancel it. I cannot believe a company as big as HP cannot cancel an order even the order was not shipped.
