HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer

I have an 8610 Printer that for the first time I am getting a print cartridge error. I have done all of the suggestions including replacing the cartridge. I am in Indianapolis. Does anyone know where I can get repair or support or have any other suggestions to resolve

I understand  you're encountering a print cartridge error with your HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer, there are a few steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:

 

  • Check the cartridge: Ensure that the cartridges are properly installed and seated correctly in their respective slots. Sometimes, simply reseating the cartridges can resolve the issue.
  • Clean the cartridge contacts: Turn off the printer and carefully remove the cartridges. Wipe the electrical contacts on both the cartridges and the printer with a clean, lint-free cloth. Reinsert the cartridges and turn the printer back on to see if the error persists.
  • Update printer firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP support website. Sometimes, updating the printer's firmware can resolve compatibility issues with cartridges.  Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Reset the printer: Try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. This can often clear out any temporary glitches causing the error. Refer to your printer's user manual or the HP support website for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
