Product: OfficeJet Pro 8028e
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have turned off cartridge protection, but my printer suddenly will not permit me to use non HP ink.  I have been using it until today and now when attempting to print I get "The indicated cartridges have been recently identified as altered or cloned" and the printer does not print.  How do I bypass this?

 

I have turned off cartridge protection in the app.

I have performed a power dump.

I have updated firmware.

You cannot, this printer features Dynamic security which means that 3rd party may work but may stop working at any time.
