Bought the ink package  62 are the inks dye? Or pigment? Which ink package is strictly DYE?

Understanding whether your HP ink is dye-based or pigment-based is important, especially if you're focused on photo quality or archival longevity.

For the HP ENVY Photo 7155 using HP 62 ink:

🖨️ Black (HP 62 Black Ink Cartridge)

  • Pigment-based ink

🖼️ Tri-Color (HP 62 Tri-color Ink Cartridge)

  • Dye-based ink
    • This includes cyan, magenta, and yellow, which are all dye-based
