My printer is not printing clear colors. When printing in blue it comes our pink or various shades. I have cleaned and realigned it and still nothing.

Hi @Brownie7612,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there may be an issue with the ink cartridges or printhead. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Check the ink levels: Make sure that all the ink cartridges are not empty or low on ink. Even if they seem full, sometimes they can become clogged or malfunction.
- Replace ink cartridges: If you have recently refilled or replaced the cartridges, ensure that they are genuine HP cartridges. Non-genuine or third-party cartridges can sometimes cause color discrepancies.
- Run the printer's cleaning cycle again: You mentioned cleaning and realigning the printer, but it's worth running another cleaning cycle. Make sure to perform the deep cleaning option, if available, to clear any stubborn clogs in the printhead.
- Print a diagnostic page: This can help identify if certain colors are missing or not printing correctly. Look for any missing lines or inconsistent colors that may indicate specific problems with the printhead or ink supply.
- Check the printhead: Even after cleaning, the printhead could still be clogged or damaged. If your printer allows you to remove the printhead, carefully check for any blockages or visible damage. You may need to soak it in warm water or cleaning solution to unclog it.
- Update or reinstall printer drivers: Outdated or corrupt printer drivers can sometimes cause color issues. Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your printer.
- Try a different paper type: Sometimes the issue could be related to the type of paper you're using. Try a different paper, preferably one recommended for color printing, and see if the issue persists.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
