Product: Officejet pro 6975

I have installed new hp black cartridge.   I have done the clean printer head procedure many times, and the black still does not print.  I even tried to copy a document, set to print black.  The sheet just comes out blank.  This is about 4-5 year old printer.  It has not been used tons.  Is this thing just ready for the trash pile?

I Have the same problem.  2 years old and used very little. Replaced all 4 cartridges and the black does not work. Replaced with

 another black cartridge , no luck.  Cleaned print head , reloaded software, ran troubleshooter. Did not help.  Would like some one from HP to respond.
