It sounds like there might be a discrepancy between your HP Instant Ink account and your printer’s actual toner levels. Here’s what you can do.
Check Toner Cartridge Status:
- Make sure the toner cartridge is correctly installed and not damaged. Sometimes, simply reseating the cartridge can help.
Update Ink Levels:
- Sometimes, the app might not reflect real-time updates. Try printing a test page or running a printer diagnostic to see if it updates the ink levels.
Restart Printer and App:
- Restart both your printer and the HP Instant Ink app to refresh their statuses.
Check Instant Ink Account:
- Log in to your HP Instant Ink account online and ensure that your printer is properly registered and your plan is active.
