@ARG2, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're trying to print a spread on your HP Deskjet 3055A e-All-in-One Printer, but the output is coming out with tiny text and half the A4 page blank. Let's walk through some steps to resolve this issue.

Check Page Scaling Settings

This issue often occurs due to incorrect scaling settings in the print dialog.

  • When printing, go to File > Print.
  • In the print dialog box, look for Page Scaling or Size Options.
  • Set it to "Actual Size" or "Fit to Printable Area" instead of "Shrink to Fit" or "Custom Scale".
  • Preview the print layout before printing.

Update Printer Driver

An outdated or incorrect driver can cause formatting issues.

Check Document Layout

If you're printing a spread (like a booklet or two-page layout), ensure the document is formatted correctly:

  • In Word or PDF, go to Page Setup and confirm the paper size is set to A4.
  • If printing a booklet, use the Booklet Printing option under print settings (if available).

Try Printing from Another Application

Sometimes the issue is with the app you're printing from. Try printing the same file from another program (e.g., Adobe Reader instead of a browser).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

The answer was just to use a different browser - Microsoft Edge rather than Firefox. Weird!
