I am unable to print on legal size document on legal size paper until I only have legal size paper.

I am unable to get my printer to print on legal size paper unless both trays have legal size paper.  I tried putting letter size paper in tray 1 and legal size paper in tray 2 then select to print to tray 2 but it would only print to tray 1.  I tried letting the software select the paper but still it would only print on tray 1.  I tried switching and putting the legal paper in tray 1 but now it was printing on the letter size paper in tray 2.  When I could get it to print on the legal size paper the print would come out shrunk to letter size.

Hello, sounds like a printer preferences setting when your trying to print document. Have you tried telling the printer you have a legal size document and want to print on legal size paper? The document size should be legal, and the paper tray should be legal as well. Make sure you are selecting the correct tray, tray 1 being the Bypass tray that folds down, and tray 2 is the actual paper tray.

Thanks.

Hope this helps, thanks.
