Hi @PrintessL,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble opening the ink cartridge door on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29w, here are some steps you can try without forcing it.

Check for a Release Latch:

  • Look for a latch or button near the ink cartridge door. It is often located on the front or side of the printer and may need to be pressed or slid to unlock the door.

Ensure the Printer is Powered On:

  • Make sure the printer is powered on. Some printers only allow the cartridge door to be opened when they are in an "active" state.

Look for Visual Cues:

  • Examine the area around the door for any symbols or labels that indicate how to open it.

Gently Wiggle the Door:

  • Sometimes, gently wiggling or pulling the door can help if it’s stuck due to alignment issues. Do this cautiously to avoid damage.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
