I cant print from my HP DeskJet 3755

HP DeskJet 3755

I cannot print because the printer says the indicated ink cartridge (which is the color one)  is not communicating correctly with the printer. I just got this printer yesterday morning. Everything is new including the ink cartridge's.  I appreciate any help that I can get. Thank you

firmware is up to date

@TallFlowers90

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Step 1: Verify the cartridge numbers

Make sure the cartridge numbers match your printer and where the country/region the printer was purchased.

Go to HP Store and verify the cartridge numbers for your printer model and country/region. Replace any incompatible cartridges.

Step 2: Reset the printer

Reset the printer to recover from printer failures.

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  3. Wait 60 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
    NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
