Hi @RobertusMagnus,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer is not printing black ink despite changing the cartridges, try the following troubleshooting steps.
- Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure the black ink cartridge is properly installed. Remove and reinsert it, making sure it's securely in place.
- Check for Protective Tape: Make sure any protective tape or plastic is removed from the cartridge.
- Clean the Printhead: Many HP printers have a built-in function to clean the printhead. Check your printer's control panel or software for the option to clean the printhead.
- Printhead Alignment: Perform a printhead alignment using your printer's settings. This can sometimes resolve issues with ink not printing correctly.
- Check Ink Levels: Verify that the black ink cartridge has sufficient ink. Sometimes new cartridges can be faulty or not have enough ink.
- Check for Blockages: Inspect the printer's printhead and cartridge area for any dried ink or obstructions. Clean gently with a soft, lint-free cloth if necessary.
- Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. Visit HP’s support website for any available updates.
- Run HP Diagnostic Tools: Use HP’s diagnostic tools available in the HP Smart app or on our website to identify and fix common issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
