Hi @Chrys6380,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP Tango X after changing the ink. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

  1. Check Ink Cartridge Installation:

    • Make sure that the new ink cartridges are properly installed. Ensure that you've removed any protective tape or packaging from the cartridges.
  2. Printer Restart:

    • Turn off your printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve communication issues between the printer and the new ink cartridges.
  3. Check for Updates:

    • Ensure that your printer firmware is up-to-date. Visit the HP support website and check for any available firmware updates for your HP Tango X.
  4. Print a Test Page:

    • Use the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app to print a test page. This can help you identify if the issue is with the printer or the connectivity.
  5. Check for Error Messages:

    • Look for any error messages or blinking lights on the printer. These can provide clues about the nature of the problem.
  6. Reinstall the Ink Cartridges:

    • Remove the ink cartridges and reinstall them, ensuring they are securely in place. Make sure they are inserted into the correct slots.
  7. Clean Print Heads:

    • Some printers have a built-in utility to clean the print heads. Check your printer's manual for instructions on how to run a print head cleaning cycle.
  8. Check Ink Levels:

    • Verify that the ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Many printers allow you to check ink levels through the printer's control panel or accompanying software.
  9. Update Printer Drivers:

    • Ensure that your printer drivers are up-to-date. Visit the official HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
