HP DESKJET 2135

I have a new ink but it's not working in my printer HP Deskjet 2135 the printer say that don't have a ink. What I need to do to start working again

If your HP DeskJet 2135 is not recognizing the new ink cartridge, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue.

 

Check the Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the new ink cartridges are properly installed. Remove the cartridge and reinsert it firmly into the printer.
  • Verify that the protective tape covering the cartridge's contacts has been completely removed.

Clean the Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Carefully remove the ink cartridges.
  • Use a lint-free cloth or a cotton swab to clean the metal contacts on both the ink cartridges and the printer. Gently wipe them to remove any dust or ink residue.

Restart the Printer:

  • After cleaning the contacts, turn the printer back on and check if the error clears up.

Perform a Printer Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on again.
  • This can help reset any error states the printer might be in.

Check Ink Cartridge Compatibility:

  • Make sure that the ink cartridges you bought are compatible with your HP DeskJet 2135. Sometimes non-genuine cartridges might cause issues, and some printers may not recognize them.

Run Printer Diagnostics:

  • If your printer has a built-in diagnostic tool, try running it to check for any hardware issues with the ink cartridges or other components.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • If you're using a computer, ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
