My print cartridge is stuck in the machine. How do I get it out as I have another one on order?

There is a lever on the right hand side when you open the scanner to access the cartridge bay. I have seen them break and then they do not disengage the cartridge drive, making it impossible to remove the cartridge. You can pull it up manually.

Thank you for this option. I was able to gently lay the printer back and using a screw driver, depress the plastic clips so I could lift the cartridge out. I will try your option if it happens again.
