I have just installed new cartridges on my 3520 series printer. The black cartridge will not print.

Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I have just installed new cartridges on my 3520 series printer. The black cartridge will not print. it is not the fault of the cartridge as I returned it to the shop for replacement and the result was the same. If my printer is at fault and there is no remedy for that, could you let me know which of your current printers use 564 cartridges as I do not want to discard over $200 worth of cartridges which I have just bought?
