@Dale1964,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the "OK" option is not showing on the printer screen after installing the new cartridge, try these steps:

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug it from the power source for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Reseat the Cartridge:

  • Open the cartridge door and remove the cartridge.
  • Reinsert it firmly and ensure it clicks into place properly.

Check for Error Messages:

  • Look if there’s any other error message or blinking light on the printer display.

Firmware Update:

  • If your printer is connected to Wi-Fi, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Update the Printer to install the latest updates.

Reset to Default Settings:

  • Navigate to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore Defaults (if available).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
