@Antwoint, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the cartridge already showing out of ink!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand how frustrating that must be! Let’s try a few things to check what’s going on.

  1. Check Ink Levels: On your iOS device, open the HP Smart app and check if the ink levels are showing correctly.

  2. Run a Nozzle Check: Sometimes, ink may not flow properly if the printheads are clogged. You can run a printhead cleaning from the printer settings.

  3. Confirm Cartridge Installation: Make sure the ink cartridge is properly installed and the protective tape (if any) has been removed.

Could you also let me know the exact HP printer model you’re using? That way, I can guide you better. If needed, we may check the serial number in a private message. 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
