I put the wrong ink cartridges in when setting up my new printer. How do I get them out?

HP Recommended
HP officejet Pro 8025
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

when setting up my new HP printer I put in my old cartridges. I received an error message telling me I have to use the new cartridge's. I can't get the cartridge holder to move to the left. So I can get them out. What can I do to fix this?
