I recently purchased 3 colors and black HP ink and installed them. Since I have done that many things are coming out pink.

please let me know if the solution can be remedied that won't cost me a fortune.

Thank you

Hi @Joc20

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your printer might be having trouble with the cyan ink cartridge or its alignment.

Here are some cost-effective steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Clean Printheads:

  • On your printer's control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to clean the printheads. This can help if the cyan ink is not flowing properly.

Inspect the Cartridges:

  • Open the printer and remove the cyan cartridge.
  • Check for any clogs or dried ink on the cartridge's vent or nozzle. If you see any, gently clean it with a lint-free cloth and distilled water.

Run a Print Quality Diagnostic:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Reports > Print Quality Report.
  • This will help identify if any specific colors are not printing correctly.

Reinstall the Cartridges:

  • Remove all cartridges and reinstall them, ensuring they are seated properly.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. You can do this through the HP Smart app or the HP website.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. This can sometimes resolve minor glitches.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
