I tried changing my ink cartridges but when I did it says that I placed them wrong, even tho I didnt

I have an OfficeJet 6954, and I just replaced my ink cartridges and now that I replace them it says that I placed them wrong and that it reads no ink, and I tried to take them out and put them back in, and it doesn’t work.

It could be an issue with the ink cartridges or the printer ink system. I'd suggest you follow the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge to isolate and resolve the issue.

 

If the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
