HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer
Hi,
I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide printer, which prints very well in black and white. The printer status report is spot on, the print head cleaning is done and the print head alignment is also done.
All the ink cartridges are full, some are HP others are not, but the printer tells me no fault or error.
The problem is when I run a color print all the lines get blurred and the whole document is printed dark green. Does anyone have an explanation and a solution?

THANKS !!

Hi @Lauranne_LRT,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

You may refill your cartridges or use remanufactured cartridges, but you may run into problems. HP will not guarantee the functionality of those ink cartridges.

There are many cartridges in the market which is refilled and sometimes the chip is not configured to work with the printer. You need to contact the cartridge manufacturer and find out why it is not working.

Hope this helps.

Take care and have a nice day!

Hi Rainbow23 !

Thank you for your return. The thing I don't understand is all the colours are okey when it's printed in A4, but there are no colours when it's in A3. I don't understand why there is a difference between these 2 types of impression.

I think i'll see when i will buy new cartridges HP for all the colours.

Thanks !
