Hi @SatishKrishnan,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the "Incompatible Cartridge(s)" error on your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 usually indicates that the printer is not recognizing one or more of the ink cartridges.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

Check Cartridge Compatibility: Make sure that you are using cartridges that are specifically designed for the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545. Using third-party or refilled cartridges can sometimes cause compatibility issues.

Remove and Reinsert Cartridges:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.
  • Check for any protective tape or plastic that may still be on the cartridges.
  • Reinsert the cartridges firmly until they click into place.

Clean Contacts:

  • Gently clean the metal contacts on the cartridges and the contacts inside the printer using a lint-free cloth or a cotton swab lightly dampened with water. Let them dry completely before reinserting.

Update Printer Firmware: Sometimes, updating the printer's firmware can resolve compatibility issues. Check the HP website for any available updates for your printer model. Update the firmware on an HP printer

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer powered on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Check for Errors: After performing the above steps, check if the error persists. If it does, you may want to test with a different set of cartridges, if possible, to rule out defective cartridges.

I hope this helps.
