Hello, similar situation to this thread: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Ink-Cartridges-Print-Quality/Incompatible-Print-Cartridge-for-...
I bought the HP Officejet Pro 7740 in the UK. I have moved to Canada and also couldn't find HP 953 ink, but saw that HP 952 should be compatible, as per the product description.
However, I've installed the 952 Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow (I didn't replace black as I still had a lot of blank ink), and I got the error: "The indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer".
The other thread seems to mention that this can be solved by doing a regional reset printer, but didn't provide the exact instructions as it's printer-specific and doing it on the wrong model could brick the device.
Can I please have the said instructions for my printer?
Its an HP Officejet Pro 7740,
Product no: G5J38A
Thanks!

Hi @ndc_cad,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
