Inconsistent Color Printing

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Installed a new HP 64XL color cartridge and printed a perfect copy of our holiday newsletter.  But when I asked it to print 2 copies of the exact same Word document with the exact same printer properties (best quality, front and back, flip on long edge) about 1 hours later, the quality immediately deteriorated.  Tried the suggestions from the totally worthless Virtual Agent -- setup, clean cartridge -- and things only got worse. Welcome any suggestions re how to get consistently good print quality from both color and black cartridges.  Otherwise, I will conclude that this printer is a total waste of my money.

Does the same happen on printing copies from the Printer?

 

Try changing the color ink.
